Pinocchio’s nose
I went to Ontario Canada again to visit some family a few weeks ago and one of my cousins came up to me and said this, as though he wanted to challenge me in some way. He said there is no answer as though it was a paradox. I think that there is an answer and he is my rationale
Here is the statement – What if Pinocchio said one day “My nose is going to grow?”
Then I said hahahaaaaaaaaa then my mind was spinning if his nose grows then and if then. Then I came up with an answer, my cousin disagreed but other people agreed with me so I guess it’s an open ended argument.
I felt that there is an answer
A) Pinocchio has a curse he is a wooden puppet and whenever he lies his nose grows that’s embedded within him, so it’s given
B) If Pinocchio tells the truth this wouldn’t happen
Now…. If Pinocchio said that his noise is going to grow if he is telling the truth his nose will grow in some way external of his curse. If he lies the curse is activated and his noise grows
Therefore: His noise will grow either way that’s my answer; I feel that there is an answer that’s it.
He even tried to attack my belief in god by saying if God is all knowing and everything wouldn’t god create a rock he can’t lift. Well I said that was an easy answer Jesus is god for me in the flesh. Jesus would say I can lift this rock but not that rock however; my spirit can lift all rocks. Therefore god satisfied both arguments
Score 1 for Jesus love haaaaaaaaa.
